Letter from the Pastor
Grace and Peace to the Body of Christ in Tiffin, OH!
This month we will celebrate Pentecost and move into a new liturgical season. After witnessing to how the risen Christ has appeared to us, we now become empowered by the gifts of the Holy Spirit to further Jesus’s ministry as the Body of Christ. It is a great time to reflect on how the Spirit has gifted us and our community and what our public witness looks like.
How are we being led to share God’s love with others? What does this look like these days?
What gifts have we [and our spiritual community] been given to further God’s work of peace, with justice, reconciliation, and Love?
Also, this month, on Sunday, May 31, we will host our ecumenical partners (First Presbyterian, Old Trinity Episcopal, and First Lutheran) for a service of worship. Be sure to join us as we celebrate the diversity of the church found within our own town and draw near to God’s presence together.
As we move into a new liturgical season, may the fruits of God’s Spirit continue to bloom in our shared life and public witness of God’s love. May we continue to support one another’s goals and vocations. May we recognize the abundance found in a loving community. May we connect as siblings who have been called onto a shared path toward spiritual enrichment and service to others.
May the Peace and Encouragement of God’s Spirit be with you.
PK

Peace and all good,
Pastor Karsten
